Home sweet home: worst expression of all time
Hey folks... How's the week treating everyone? My week has been somewhat blah since I had to come home and figure out how to get myself to my soon-to-be home. This involves fun things like:
• Poking the internets for the correct visa forms to fill out to live in the UK.
• Fighting having to sleep alone again and be away from the person I love... which sucks so much ass, I can't even tell you in english or any other language.
• Trying to figure out what items I can ebay™ off that I don't feel like trying to move. **note: stay tuned later in the rant for some info on this fun shop opening shortly**
• Printing directions and forms to take along to New York City since I have an appointment next week with the British embassy to ask if they'll take a nutcase like myself in their cute little country.
• Laundry. So much horrible laundry. Has anyone seen some missing socks? Specifically brown ones with monkeys on them? Please advise.
There is more, but you get the idea.
I'm so excited that I get to plan this whole rest of my life thing, equipped with the new sparkly and stuff... but having to be so far and do it alone really isn't the easiest thing. Luckily I'm tough and I'm fairly certain things will go smooth as a spool of crawler silk.
Now the fun part. I have a lot of neat things. I collect stuff... I can't take it all with me so I'll be placing a lot of shiny things on ebay. I'll be sure to post them here as I list them so, if there is anything you see that you really want (I do have some sweet action figures and signed comic posters) just mail me when they go up and I'll make sure my friends here get first dibs. Sorry, the Big Trouble in Little China figures are definitely going to make the move with me ;)

Speaking as a British guy with a wife from North America I feel I should warn you on the insanity of UK visas.
First the good news. Pretty straight forward if you know what you're doing. The bad? You need to know what you're doing.
We didn't. Top rule - you must get the visa issued in your country of residence.

I never got to say congrats to you missy 'cause i've been busy with my own stuff and i just ain't seen you around but i felt terrible for not doing so sooner 'cause you're like the big uber kung-fu sister i always wanted! ^_^
Also, totally knew this would happen since you first hooked up guys, i even think i said it once or twice. Some people just 'fit' and i think it was always clear that you guys did just that and perfectly so.
When you get home we should organise some kinda of lame ass couples night. Beer and saber fights, it'll rock ass. I'll even tell you my theory about David Lynch, a Horse head, a box of man size tissues and imspiration! ;)

=D That sounds like a shiteload of fun^^ I'm like Aingeal although I posted in the other one too^^ Good luck to you all in everything^^ I'll just stay over here and keep America in check^^ I'm gonna have to work triple time to keep the country in its chaotic state w/out teh naks help =P but its worth the work to see another golden couple get together^^

YAY!!!! You're coming to the UK. Now you get to put up with rubbish weather, late film/game releases, expensive petrol, and hose-pipe bans. but YAY!!!

Great, just great. All the good people are leaving the U.S. and what are the people here stuck with? A president who looks like a monkey and a Naku-shaped gap in, umm, whatever state Naku happens to be in at present. T_T
