naku always drives home alone.....
You know people... Life is hard when you choose to live it to it's full potiental.
I question if I'll get another shot and I want this one.... to be righht. I'm willing to develop my patience gland if it means.... doing the right thing.
Life isn't short. The old philosophy sandbags have been lying to you.
Live is long.
Living it the best you can... and not treating life like an impatient child with all this marriage, happiness, normalcy... is something these books of yours you read in high school should tell you.
Some things are worth fighting for. Even if that thing is.... fighting for that something to FIGHT for.
To quote a lovely movie I enjoy very much: Never give up.... never surrender.
My writing here has been sporadic to say the least. I can say that I feel my best when I'm writing useless things on the intorweb for all to see? Perhaps that is a sickness some professional can charge me obscene amounts of money to remedy?
Luckily for you people that still possibly read this??? I have no faith in the medical profession ;D I can act as doctor to myself and recognize when I'm acting like an asscrack. I don't need to pay some dipshit $100.00 to tell me that.
Maybe a handfull read this?
I'm listening to "human condition" (music uber folk should know the album) and while he is a pretentious dick....... he makes sense. "We're out here on our own....... blah blah dumb pop lyrics.... It's life doin' it's thing... making you cry.... making you sing" Seriously. The dude was in a kinda retarded band but he is good at times. Ideas are really good.
So music? I hate to admit it but I just don't feel like sleeping tonight even though I must work in a few wee hours. I love to say things sometimes? If that makes sense.
I wish I had some people in this new town to be friends with.... wait, let me put this in a term that I actually mean: I WISH I'D MAKE A FRIEND HERE THAT WOULD LIKE TO FIGHT ME AT TEKKEN OR MK THAT WOULD ACTUALLY POSE A CHALLENGE.
It's really hard to be in a new town. I work with some really amazingly neat people but... I am fake employee... how do you make friends? I've had trouble in the past..... boss befriends you, you feel loyalty... you waste two years of your life to a dying company because of guilt?
Perhaps that was too personal, lol good thing I'm listening to the shins :D
Which leads me to my next point because apparently tonight I just have to write
These people are uber. I want to make friends but.... I work with them? I am wondering if the best thing I can do is this:
MAKE SEVERAL MUSIC MIXES?
I have mixes of music I've made that make me weep (but I'm a retarded fan of music) so :I work?
I have hip hop mixes that would make TuPac (that lazy fake-dead mother fscker) wake up and mail me because my mix is "w0rd"
I have hardcore mixes of Tool and Fugazi and Mars Volta and other beautifully angry bands....... they bring my car so much joy... how could I forsake them?
How about the british fake-cool pop (that I seem to get before the fake cool people in europee get aka: come'on people..... be better than the US in something other than movie release dates pls :D
Anyway.... if you want my opinion? I say we all lay in bed in our most comfortable jammies and listen too some of the most profound "chill" albums in my collection:
oooOOoooo wait this gives me a project RAWWR!
I'm going to make the actual readers a breakdown of.... sexy (what a girl thinks)
you guys and gals pay attention because....... I just had an idea
mix of....... sexiest songs ever (with a subnote that: yeah, you make this for your girl or boyfriend for valentines
MIX
peace out :D

ooh, can't wait for another one of your mixes :)
I still listen to the Naku drives home alone mix a lot... very relaxing :)

Hey naku. :-) I still check every few days to see if you've left a message, so I guess I am one of that "handful". As kudaru said, your rants are teh win. ^_^
There is just something about you and your posts . . . you always manage to make me smile and sometimes laugh outright. Maybe it's some kind of kindred spirit mojo or sumthin. ~_^
Love the music mixes too. I still have the "naku drives home alone" mix on my mp3 player.
"Never give up! Never surrender!" . . . wasn't that from Galaxy Quest?? ^_^ I liked that movie. Good words to live by too. Never surrender . . . but a strategic withdrawal to a more defensible position with cookies and milk doesn't hurt once in awhile.
I know how you feel about the whole "friends at work" thing. I have never really been able to "hang out" with people from work. It's silly, because when we're AT work we have a blast. It just seems like when 4:30 rolls around everyone goes there separate ways. I know some of them go to the bar once in awhile, but I was never a big bar kinda guy.
I'd fight you at Tekken AND MK!! You'd probably kick my ass . . . until I learned all your secret 133t ninja skillz . . . ¬_¬ . . . Then I'd use them on you and teach you the meaning of the word(?) pwnage!
Or not. *laffin*
Looking forward to "teh sexy mix" from "teh sexy naku". ^_^
Take care of yourself naku, and remember, you find friends in the strangest of places.
Never give up! Never Surrender! Eat cake!
*bear hugs naku*

Hah Five. That makes the hand full!
Anyways I strongly believe that all those who read your rants love them as much as I do.
Never give up! Never surrender!
And remember that you are only as lonesome as you feel.

And if you ever decide to go to europe again, be sure to drop by us here in Denmark. I'll be more than happy to take your around the country.
Music you might wanna have a look at:
Lacuna Coil
Nobuo Uematsu
Theatre of Tragedy (Velvet Darkness They Fear - Album)
Sorten Muld (Danish lyrics - but awesome sound) (Mark I, Mark II and Mark III - Albums)
anyways i gotta run...

Ooooo wow! My comp is letting me post a comment this time! hehe.
Well, I guess I would be repeat visitor number 11 judging by the names on this list.
Keeping the international flava, I'm English and we don't just better you in movie release dates... we have (by your own admission naku) more nice green scenery too! Ok, so we do suck at everything else but at least my drive to work is pretty :P .
Loved your last mix btw. Still listen to it alot. Deep respect for your music taste. Cool to hear more.
Personal recommendation: Check out www.theretrospankees.com . Small band close to my heart just got their first indie record deal. Love to hear what you think if you get a chance :D .

Carpe Diem/Jugulum. I'm starting in a new place at the moment too. I've been reliably informed that it does get better, once you've been there for a while and had time to start finding the cool stuff.
Relaxing music mixes, you're the boss on that one. I humbly submit that I like The Eels, Badly drawn boy, (carefully selected) Beatles tracks and more, even older stuff.

I'd offer to fight you in Tekken or MK but I'm too noob :(
Oh, and you don't know me >_< I just used to go to Applegeeks and Little-Gamers a lot, and just now found this place.

Hi! I've been following the blog for a bit, but decided that I wanted to comment!
I practically live on the opposite side, but, looks like I've already been beaten to that as well; someone's already commented from Australia.
I'm a bit further off, in New Zealand where we get music a fortnight later [than the US], movies 2 months later and TV shows 6 months later.
I can't really comment past this; even though it had nothing really to do with your original blog, I'm still searching [for a friend], and my taste in music would make most music lovers shudder.
:> And I suck at Tekken, never heard of MK.
I suppose this is to say that you've got readers from around the world! Yay!
