Rig back'ish.... purple doggie in my pocket!
I poked around the rig until I could get it to start up. Actually I slammed it on the desk a couple times and swore at it until it woke up and behaved. I was able to join the group fighting Fenrir thankfully.
I wanted to thank Rayj for helping and being the best tank on the server! We died a handful of times until we got down what to do. It was by far the hardest thing I've done in the game. Like many of you out there.. I get so nervous I shake when in a battle like that. I've wanted to complete the summoner job since I started the game and it always seemed impossible. Well, done and done!
I'm hoping the rig will hold up so I can play tonight. I'm running it with out the case with hopes it will stay cool enought to not blow out parts. -_-; I suppose it's time to squirrell away money for a new machine. *sigh*
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Thanks again Rayj.... I owe you a diet coke with lime and some cookies!

I situations like this i have found that telling the rig you will throw it out the window (more effictive if on least a second story) or lay a hammer down on top or next to it (bigger the better, i prefer a sludge). just a suggestion :)

try setting up a huge box fan next to the rig to keep it cool. They're only like $10 at most Walgreen's. :) Good luck! Go kick some hiney!

I completed a similar project on my old computer, and also had to leave the side of the case off. The computer worked fine, but I have to agree with the above poster, that shining a semi-powerful fan on the open parts of your computer will do wonders to improve performance. Heat is the main enemy of most computer parts.

Ahaha I know that kinda stuff. But the best thing I've seen so far was at a lan. Been there with some friends and one of those couldn't start his pc.
What happend? There seemed to be a short circuit in his case. So he had to take out all his stuff and play with it lying around on the table. Best case-mod eva! No Case for Prez.
