Build 'em a bunneh or somethin'

Good morning few people that read this. Let's see what the word on the street is this week... The training is going well, I'm happy to say. If there is any curiosity as to what it entails, it goes something like this:

Morning: 30 minutes of drills and lifting (alternating days so I don't break anything)

Evening: 20 minute run (alternating days, one day with 5 lb. weights on legs/one day free of weight.. it hurts I assure you :D). Come inside, couple swigs of Gatorade™ to get blood sugars evened out.. then 40-60 minutes of drills, cardio, drills, etc.

Throughout the day: I try to get up from my desk several times a day and move around. At home, I have a pull up bar that I do one pull up every time I enter/exit the room until I can't anymore.

This is every day but Friday and Sunday. It's a sure-fire way to become a badass extremely fast. Working like that means you have to be careful about fuel. So ya should eat little good things through the day. Oh, and I tried Silk™ soy yogurt yesterday for the first time. I was terrified as I've got some strange fear of soy but it's supposed to be uber so I'm working through it. I stared at the first spoonful for about 5 minutes with a quivering lip. I just said fsck it.. I can spit it out if it tastes of arse. *munch* That stuff isn't bad at all!

It was pretty silly over Easter weekend. My bro-in-law who reads this on occasion asked me how the training was going. I said something along the lines of "Yeah, I'm getting really good at Tekken 5" hahaha. I was kidding, but no one else around got the joke. ^_^;

Let's see what else... Last night I got this urge to build something. I wanted to make something ghei-cute for snow since I miss 'em and sheet. So I put on a white lab coat and some safety goggles and took out all my building materials. Created blueprints to figure out the mechanism of what I had planned.

Unfortunately, my sewing machine was being a big, fat biatch so I had to do this by hand. The pattern created, the construction began. I started at approx. 8:30pm and by 12:30pm I had this:

Hahahaha. I do think ghei-cute was mos-def achieved. This was fun to make. I will make more as gifts for neat people like my fam and friend's GF's (that read paper thingies). :D It's interesting how much stuff you get done when you don't play games all night. Kinda like I raised my RL clothcrafting skillz! w0rd.

Little bit until the weekend.. hang in there folks!

naku
About me:

Hi, I'm naku...a design/web ninja. I collect comics, action figures, music & computers. Most often seen making bento boxes, wrangling cats or playing my DS. I'm fairly new to the magical world of bento so I'll probably be featuring posts of this nature for a while. At least until snow or jlist decide I've got a problem and should be cut off from purchasing any more onigiri molds. I'm currently living on the Isle of Man with my husband snowchyld, who is also a ninja, two cats Yuki and Athena and three fish, Aquaman, Namorita and Yoshi. Feel free to drop me a line any time with any questions about the bento boxes, or general inquiries... unless it's a math question. I'm really bad at math. n^_^u@naku.org
