Big trouble in Pig Sty Alley!
Last night I cracked open a cold cherry coke, smiled at teh snowy and settled in to watch Kung Fu Hustle. I have to say it was one of the best 'date' movies I've ever seen! It had amazing fight scenes, parts that made me laugh out loud, romance, did I mention the fight scenes? Some were so well done I actually got the chills.
I suggest everyone go watch this one way or another. It's seriously worth it. It's got a ranking right up there with BTiLC for me, which I thought was impossible. I'm going to watch it again I think.
Things have been busybusybusy. Other stuff to check out, the new NIN - With Teeth. Pretty decent, starts off a bit meh but toward the end of the album it picks up and after a couple listens it really grows on you. I'm surprised. Apparently Trent has been listening to the LCD soundsystem label (I forget the name) a lot and it really shows in some of the tracks. "Only" being one of them. Give it a listen :)
Back to work!

This is my first ever post Naku so really I'm lost for something really good to say. Figured I might as well, since I've got some spare time and my own site for people to check after reading this meaningless post. Since we're going on about NIN; did anyone ever hear them doing the Legend of Zelda theme live. It’s great. I got it round the time the fragile came out, and Napster was the in-thing. Quite rad. But anyway, I'm in a bad band with our own web-comic etc, so if any one cares for punk, check www.hotsquirrelz.com =p

Can't agree enough about Kung Fu Hustle. What amazes me is the late release onto the US market considering you can buy it on DVD already in other places in the world; who'd have thought that would ever happen :smug grin: (I deserve it for all those delayed US releases over here).
Stephen Chow is one heck of a writer/director/artist and continues to make his mark on the film world.
Can't wait for his next project.
